Actress Rosario Dawson praises her politician boyfriend, Senator Cory Booker of latest Jersey, who took his Senate seat with ease Tuesday.

"So proud and grateful for you my love," the "Briarpatch" actress wrote on Instagram Wednesday. "I was ready to vote for you here in New Jersey and that I am very happy that you simply have won your seat in an awesome and bonafide way."

The Democrat comfortably defeated Republican challenger Rick Mehta on polling day.
