Triumph group signs a great agreement for the C-5 high-speed gearboxes

Triumph for space Structures designs and builds hulls, subsystems and large parts for military, commercial and industrial OEMs, using metals and compounds.


Triumph Integrated Systems designs, develops and tests electrical components for use in military and commercial aircraft. Integrated systems build their own electronics and controls, actuation and controls, along with mechanical parts, gears, liquid power parts and actuators.


Triumph Product Support maintains military and commercial aircraft parts and accessories and airborne electric power generators. Product Support provides accessories, aviation services, airborne structures and interiors.


NYSE: TGI, Triumph Group announced that it has signed a five-year agreement with Linmarr Associates, a distributor for the US Air Force Logistics Defense Agency, to supply 30 new high-speed backup gearboxes for the Lockheed C-5 Galaxy. Gearboxes are part of the landing gear door operating system also provided by Triumph Group.
